IKEA CHERAS OPENING IN END 2015<\/p>\n

We are excited to confirm that the IKEA store in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur is set\u00a0to open by the end of 2015. Located at Jalan Cochrane, the new store also\u00a0marks our second outlet to be launched in Malaysia.<\/p>\n

IKEA opened its first store in Malaysia at 1 Utama Shopping Mall in 1996. With\u00a0the support of Malaysian fans and customers, we grew from our humble\u00a0beginnings and moved into our standalone store in Mutiara Damansara in 2003;\u00a0the biggest IKEA store in Asia at that time. Continuing our journey here, the\u00a0upcoming store in Cheras will be our biggest yet in Malaysia with an overall store\u00a0size that is 20 percent larger than IKEA Damansara.<\/p>\n

The opening of IKEA Cheras is part of our overall expansion plan across\u00a0Southeast Asia in order to make Swedish home furnishings that are affordable,\u00a0well-designed, functional and good quality available to everyone.<\/p>\n
